i didn't know subaru's logo changed .. LOL. no la .. it just so happened that the lizard was resting right in the middle .. it probably loves to ride on a WRX. lol ... 
yup, we went to watch national treasure - book of secrets. caught a late night movie at cine .. like 2345hrs. HOHO. yea, i like late night movies .. the feeling of not being suppressed by curfews of booking in the next day, the feeling of not going home early, the feeling of not sleeping early, the feeling of FREEDOM !!! (WAH i wanna ORD quick !!!) oh well, staying out once in a while feels good.
and confusingly, my appetite was rather haywired that day. after dinner at 6+pm, i could still fill myself with a plate of spicy chicken spaghetti from pastamania at 10+pm while me, ian and shann were waiting for the rest. shann bought some chicken tenders from BK ... and we had food during the movie too .. lol.
movie was good. more interesting than the first one ... i was more enthralled this time round. the conspiracy theories, together with those real life monuments, really make people wonder if their stories are true ... a trigger to our hunger for answers. and of cos, more action this time .. the usual cat and mouse game between 2 groups of people in search for the same treasures. :)
i guess there are more apparently-nice movies coming up ...
YEAH! movies, movies and more movies. 'JUMPER' looks pretty cool too. but seems like the webby's not got its poster up yet :\ yea anyway, its about some guy who can travel at supersonic speed. he gets into some kinda trouble and bla bla bla .. lol.and ya ... movie ended at around 0230hrs. we're all not giving up yet! off for supper at bedok 85 bak chor mee ! yes! food again ...! and i still could gobble that bowl of bak chor mee soup down! amazing ! hahaha. (yum, i get hungry now when i think of food ... :) it was around 0330hrs when we finished our supper .. ian sent everyone home ... thanks ian, for the trouble ... :) lights out at 0415hrs.

oh! what a scene. a topless silver surfer with hair ? haha lame. well, if you've passed by AMK hub recently, you probably have seen him before. he comes to work anytime, and he works just outside AMK mac. so ... what does he do ? i have no eye deer ! he simply plays some melody from his god-knows-if-its-a-hi-fi-or-what thingy ... and starts jerking/springing (NOT dancing) around/up/down/(off?) with the music ? sometimes it can be quite exaggerating .. like u know .. possessed ? LOL. yeah, its s-p-a-s-t-i-c. well personally, i dun find it entertaining at all. in fact, disturbing. he's got no nice figure, and he bares his top. he's got no professionalism ... cos God knows what the heck he is doing ... and cos well, it's not even cosplay! so ya ... i really wonder if the crowd is there to give him support ? or just to laugh. you may have seen 2 similar people along orchard rd. yes, they paint themselves gold or silver. but! they dun do spastic things like that ... they just keep still .. like mannequins ... once in a while, they'll make some light movements .. graceful ones. ok, 2 different worlds. :)

hmmm, looks pretty much like the same tree eh? hehe. think about it .. 1 year really flies! glad that 1 year of life in ns flew past just like that! AND .... FOUR more mths and i'll be thru!
i've been wondering ... as much as christmas seem to be a joyous occasion, some of us don't really celebrate for the origins of it ... we're just happy! happy that its yet another public holiday! happy that there are sales like EVERYWHERE in town! happy to spend! happy to buy! happy to receive presents! yup, we'll see happy people in town. happy happy happy! HOHOHO ... and that makes the whole atmosphere joyous! haha. YET, pls, spare a thought for those less fortunate people. their lives aren't as wonderful as most of us ... PLS DONATE FOR FLAG-SELLERS! remember, christmas is a season of GIVING. (like, *ahem* father tengy, hahaha) lol.
anyway, me, ben and ian were shopping in town the other day. stumbled upon this gorgeous watch in Agnes B .. and i went *bling bling* SO NICE.
yea i believe its chain is made of titanium. metallic black in colour. pretty awesome eh? so, as i said ... christmas is a season of ....? GIVING! hahahah, i definitely welcome christmas gifts ... ESPECIALLY the watch that you're looking at above! c'mon, its not very expensive. :P LOL.
alrighty, what happened on christmas eve, 2007?
unit christmas celebration at SAFRA Yishun - very cosy place! i'd rate the event 5/10. guess it wasnt very interesting to most of us ... had to resort to games like musical chairs, zong ji mi ma and trivia. SIGH, all because of the lack of budget! x( oh yea, and i was the host for zong ji mi ma. well, felt a lil awkward standing right in front, hosting the game ... : like ... "alright guys, game commences! ZERO to HUNDRED." *voice act cool abit* LOL. oh well, but i loved the idea that most of us were there for the so-called GATHERING. yea! the joyous atmosphere again! :D gift exchange ... lunch provided, games ... fun ... scandals (OOPS). happy happy happy! merry merry merry! lol!

town was pretty crowded even in the early afternoon. me, lance, cp, jj, hai keong and aaron were there. YEA! xmas shopping! shopping malls, streets, buses, trains. they were all packed with PEOPLE! and SALES SALES SALES, everywhere! i didnt buy anything thou. lol. cos i was l-a-z-y and my bag was full of stuff. HEH. most importantly, fred perry boutique spotted !!! finally! its in cineleisure! :D
yup, thats about it for the day. and if you ask me about my christmas resolutions ... hmm it'd take me awhile to list down ALL. but, basically, i'd love to have ... WORLD PEACE (standard), GOD BLESS MY LOVED ONES (standard) and to GAIN WEIGHT! :D

18 dec 07, tuesday, 2145hrs, singapore.
ian arranged for a supper session, together with me, branda and shannon. initially planned to eat at bedok bak chor mee, but there was a change of plan apparently.
ian was nice to pick all of us up one by one .. headed to ECP mac. ate a little ... then, toooo theee aaairport! *shoosh shoosh* lol ...
headed to the so-called hong kong cafe (but the name was ISC) to eat more! i was attracted by the durian AROMA that was detected around the vicinity. hahahaha. so went up to look at the menu. indeed, they sell duriany stuffs. yup, so .. branda and i order some d24 durian puree .. a lil disappointing .. maybe the durian was too concentrated ? or maybe its the bun ... dunno. ian's mango ice mountain was nice! we're all scooping from his bowl. hahahah!
oh, and also ... something amusing we saw on the menu:

LOL. sounds like some ... hokkien slang or something to me ... but actually, it's bak kut teh, but instead of using pork, they use chicken. so the usual ian and i were thinking of funny substitutes ... like .. FISH KUT TEH? COW KUT TEH? DUCK KUT TEH? HAHAHAH ... ya la .. finding self-entertainment .. lol.
yea ... so all ended well ... and ian dropped each of us at our doorsteps home ... toooo theee dreamland! *shoosh shoosh* at 215pm. :)

the chalet was organised specially for the tennis team .. out of the 15 who were invited, only 7 turned up ... so i still consider that a little successful. but still, pathetic. in the small 3-room apartment were me, ian, xuefang, subra, branda, jiehua, benjamin and shannon. well, its kinda expected that it'd be quite boring for there were only 8 of us, but i'm thankful ... at least there were 8 of us. and most of them had something on before or after, and they still made an effort to go. especially benjamin and shannon. one's sick, the other just got off the plane. :)
as a host, i know i wasnt wonderful at all. but my interest was clearly for the team. or rather, the group. i've always loved the team (group) spirit of our team. especially our usual clique ... what's more, nowadays, we rarely get to meet one another. its either in camp, studying, overseas or other committments. so, yea ... i know my efforts didn't go to absolute waste.

so ... bored at home. luckily there was LYNN! LOL. we were able to keep ourselves well-entertained online for hours! hahha. with what ? with OLD SCHOOL MEMORIES. funny ones. of all things, we had to talk about techno songs. mm chi mm chi mm chi! NYAHAHA.
songs. lotsa techno songs. late 90s' techno. songs like BUTTERFLY - "aiyaiiyaii, im your little butterfry ", BOOM BOOM BOOM - " boom boom boom boom! i want you in my room, lets spend the night together, together in my room!" lol, just by typing out the lyrics, we're already laughing out ... lynn went to search for the songs in imeem. THAT MADE MY LAUGHTER EVEN MORE UNCONTROLLABLE. LOL. primary school memories came flooding back. those days where little girls tried to act lian, and little boys tried to act beng. lynn is pro, she remembers lotsa song lyrics. (that proves that she once tried to act lian :P)LOL. my most memorable song - CALCUTTA by dr bombay! "CALLA CALLA CUTTA CUTTA CUTTA AYO AYO~! " HAHHAHAHAAAAaaaaa.
